IBOM MEDICAL CITY 

The Ibom Medical City is a 100-hectare smart-health ecosystem in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, designed to curb outbound medical tourism. Unveiled by Governor Umo Eno, the facility will be located along the Uyo-Ikot Ekpene Highway and centers around a 350-bed international hospital.

The Akwa Ibom State Primary Healthcare Development Agency is charged with the responsibility of ensuring adequate primary health care services in the State.

Working with development partners, we make basic health services available, ensuring communities have access to health facilities, services and basic health insurance. Our goal is to make basic health services people-oriented and delivered according to established quality standards and protocols.
