The Directorate Of Essential Drugs And Logistics is in charge of drugs and supplies management and logistics management in the Agency.
The directorate manages the forecasting, procurement, receipt, storage, allocation, delivery and monitoring of all drugs, medical consumables and supplies in the state and is also responsible for all reverse logistics of all waste and spent supplies.

Pharm. Emem Nsikak Edet serves as the Director, Essential Drugs and Logistics Department at the Akwa Ibom State Primary Health Care Development Agency (AKSPHCDA), where she provides oversight for pharmaceutical supply chain management, essential medicines coordination, and logistics support across primary health care facilities in the state.
She is a pharmacist and health systems professional with over 20 years of experience as a registered pharmacist.
