Mrs. Florence Joseph Ekerette (Assistant Director Administration) is an accomplished Public
Administrator and Human Resources Management professional with extensive experience of
over 16 years in the Akwa Ibom State Civil Service. She currently serves as the Head of
Administration and Human Resources Department, Akwa Ibom State Primary Health
Care Development Agency (AKSPHCDA), Uyo, where she provides strategic leadership in
personnel management, organizational development, and administrative coordination.
With a distinguished career spanning several years, Mrs. Ekerette has held numerous key leadership positions across government ministries and agencies. She previously served as Head of Administration and Supplies Department at the Akwa Ibom State Debt Management Office and as Head of Promotions Unit in the Ministry of Finance, Accountant General’s Office, and Ministry of Works. She also served in the Hospitals Management Board and the Civil Service Commission, and later as Head of Political Department in the Bureau of Political and Legislative Affairs.
Throughout her career, she has demonstrated exceptional competence in human resource administration, staff development, promotions management, policy implementation, records management, and public sector governance. Her wealth of experience and commitment to excellence have contributed significantly to improved administrative efficiency and institutional performance within the various organizations she has served.
