Mfon Teddy Essien is highly experienced in public finance with many years of service in accounting, financial management, and public sector administration. She currently serves as the Director of Finance and Accounts at the Akwa Ibom State Primary Healthcare Development Agency.
She holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Degree in Accounting and is a member of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria. Throughout her professional career, she has participated in numerous capacity-building programmes and specialized trainings in public financial management, due process, accountability, and the prudent management of public funds. The latest being certification in Leadership and Team Management by Heartland Alliance Ltd/GTE(HALG), equipping her with the skills required for effective leadership, team development, and organizational governance.
A dedicated and results-oriented professional, she is committed to promoting transparency, accountability, and excellence in financial management in support of the delivery of quality primary healthcare services in Akwa Ibom State. Mfon Essien is married and blessed with children.
