Director, Essential Drugs and Logistics


Pharm. Emem Nsikak Edet is a pharmacist and health systems professional with over 20 years of experience as a registered pharmacist. She serves as Director, Essential Drugs and Logistics at the Akwa Ibom State Primary Health Care Development Agency (AKSPHCDA), where she provides oversight for pharmaceutical supply chain management, essential medicines coordination, and logistics support across primary health care facilities in the state.

She holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree. She is a Fellow of the West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacists (FPCPharm) and a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (MNIM).

She has progressive practice experience in pharmaceutical operations and medicines management, and her work focuses on strengthening health systems, improving access to essential medicines, enhancing supply chain performance, ensuring quality assurance in pharmaceutical services, and supporting effective primary health care delivery in Akwa Ibom State.
