Prior to report of COVID-19 in Nigeria, the Program Manager for Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) Programs visited the Akwa Ibom State Primary Healthcare Development Agency (AKSPHCDA) to discuss the Integrated Child Health and Social Service Award (ICHSSA 1) Project.
ICHSSA 1 is a five-year agreement by USAID implemented by Center for Clinical Care and Research Nigeria (CCCRN) in partnership with Catholic Relief Services and other local organizations. Its aim is to ensure the protection of orphans and vulnerable children by their households and communities to reduce vulnerability to HIV/AIDS.
The Program Manager, Ms. Doreen Magaji discussed with the Executive Secretary (ES) to the AKSPHCDA, Dr. Eno Attah, various areas of collaboration for a successful implementation aimed at 31 LGAs in the state.
The ES welcomed the guests from CCCRN and looked forward to ways in which the Agency can support the implementation of the project.
