Functions of the Department:
  • Identifying and planning of projects for inclusion in the development PHC plan and Annual Budget.

  • Coordinating planning activities of all departments/ units of the Agency with the view to assigning priorities based on the relative importance of the projects to the defined needs of the people.

  • Carrying out monitoring and implementation of the Agency programmes and projects.

  • Gathering and presentation of relevant statistics/ data and reports to guide the Agency’s operation.

  • Serving as Secretariat to Inter-ministerial Appraisal Committee chaired by the Chairman.

  • Coordinating the activities of PHCMIS and Conducting Survey for Development of Digital Health Map.

  • The PRS Directorate also serves as the Secretariat of all Donor Assisted Programmes, Tender Board, NCH and SHIS.
